Fashion: Big round earrings

I love to wear -and I wear them almost every day- those big, round earrings (also known as hoop earrings), silver and gold. They match any outfit you're wearing, and I think they are classy and feminine.
The only problem is that I'm a human being and Dutch too, so I don't like to spend a lot of money on earrings that are rapidly bronze. And real golden or silver earrings are also cost me much money, because I almost always lose them. (blame it on my ADD)
Tip: To ensure your (fake)silver or golden earrings will not change bronze, you can apply transparent nail polish so that they have a coating. I did it ten minutes ago and I think it worked! I HOPE!
